What a custom AI tool costs
A custom AI tool or agent starts from £3,000. The price depends on how many sources it reads, how complex your rules are, where your team uses it, and how its output is checked. Your proposal lists the monthly running costs (hosting and AI usage) before you approve anything.
Every build gets a fixed quote in writing before work starts. You pay 50% to start and 50% on handover, and software and AI usage costs go straight to the provider, in your name. Half the audit fee comes off your build if the build starts within 30 days of your report.

What is the difference between a custom AI tool and ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a general assistant you prompt each time. A custom AI tool does one job for your business the same way every time: it knows your documents and rules, takes the right inputs, and produces output in your format.
What is an AI agent?
An AI agent is a tool that can take several steps on its own, such as researching, deciding what to look at next and writing up the result. Many of our custom tools are agents; some are simpler.
Can it use our confidential documents?
Yes, with care. We check what data is involved before we build, choose providers that do not train on your data, and limit who can use the tool.
Who checks the output?
A person does, wherever it matters. Tools show their sources and flag anything uncertain, and the handover covers what to check.
Do we own the tool?
Yes. You own what we build, with accounts in your name wherever possible, and you keep everything if you stop working with us.
